Scriptures on Angels

Angels are frequently mentioned in Scripture, and they are always helping perform the work of God, usually by carrying some sort of message for Him. This is expected, since the literal meaning of “Angel” is “Messenger.”

As much as Scripture says about angels, there is more we don’t know than we do, especially in regard to their origin, nature, and functions in our lives. Nevertheless, the following Scriptures on angels can help answer some of our questions.
